Loire Valley Wines
This class focuses on the bewitchingly elegant, and yet often undiscovered, wines of the Loire, located west of Paris in Central France. The Loire Valley is called the Garden of France and produces wine made primarily from Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc for whites, Cabernet Franc for reds. The class covers many liquid gems, including: Sancerre, Muscadet, Pouilly-Fumé, Chinon, Bourgueil and Saumur-Champigny.
We discuss the grapes, terroir, and what makes this region so charming and these wines so special. All wines are paired with small plates.
$80 per person (a minimum class of 6)
